Hello there
We are an older couple (78/79) returning to caravanning after about 25 years ... ! The furthest we ever travelled back then was to Sicily... that was quite some journey ...
But we now feel like newbies...

We are hoping to get a caravan... new to us ... after Easter..
I do have a query which i hope the more experienced amongst you can help us with...
Do I / we go on the towing course before we get the van or wait till we have it tucked up on our drive... ?

Never went on a towing course first time round... but much more to think about now ... i'd appreciate your thoughts ...

It might be worthwhile going on the course fairly soon, before you collect your caravan.
I haven't been on a course myself, but you'll probably learn about such modern fol de rols as electronic stability controls and Alko hitch stabilisers.
You want to make sure that when you buy your caravan you can take it home shiny side up without scuffing any paintwork
Enjoy your search for your caravan, but to avoid the more common pitfalls Click Here to have a browse at things to look out for when buying.
