Never used it as it's only 30 minutes north of us so could not say if it is ok. The other one in Belford is Blue House Farm. If you need provisions from big supermarket it is a trek to Alnwick or Berwick.

Thanks, I did see there is a COOP in Belford so that will probably do although might take in Alnwick Castle when we are there. We are taking our grandson who is into castles at the moment.
 
If you book Alnwick castle online it is 10% cheaper than at the gate also they do deal for castle & gardens a bit cheaper. Your admission is valid for 1 year so go as many times as you like. Alnwick has a Morrisons, Aldi & Lidl.
