Help - Condensation/damp in my 7 pin leads/7 pin to 13 pin ad...

Can anyone help me please. i have a problem where by the fuse on my tow bar electrics is blowing because either there is damp/condensation in the 7 pin or 7 pin/13 pin adaptor which i use.

I have used wd 40 as an emergency as an mile down the road on the way to cornwall all my electrics failed. It d done the trick but i am not sure if this is the answer. Any tips or advice appreciated.

yes, agreed Glenn.

I'm a bus mechanic & we never get damp causing fuses to blow. we get lamp units full of water but what sops them working is just general manky rot!

I know they cost a packet but trying a new connector would be my advice.

If it does prove to be the damp, simply wrap the whole lot in plastic & tape the ends up tightly.
