Help I'm trying to sell my 'Awning'

Hi, for circumstances that I won't go into I had to sell my caravan (long complicated story), it was a very sad day. The person we sold it to would'nt give us any more money for the awning, so we hung onto it. Oh how I wished we had'nt, now I am stuck with this huge awning in my conservatory and I can't get rid of it. Does anyone have any ideas of where to sell it, please don't say Ebay, my husband won't use ebay we have had some bad experiences with it. Help please.

I totally agree with Janet on this one! We sold our awning through our local press very quickly. When a prospective buyer(s) makes contact tell them you are happy for them to inspect the awning before making their purchase. They won't expect you to erect it fully but they can still see its quality. This is always helpful as they can see just what they are buying. Good luck.

Have you tried http://www.adtrader.co.uk it's free or have you tried using the PC webpage to sell it?

You never said what size or make it was, you may get a buyer on this site.

hi.. just read your dilemma about your awning.. isn't it about time there is a for sale/wanted section on the forums..i myself think it would be a good idea as i am always looking on ebay for caravan accessories, and who better to buy things off than fellow caravanners.. all in favour say "I"

Contact the owners club for your caravan - and maybe the owners clubs for similar sized vans - they should have a For Sale section.

hi lolly,sorry to but in but i have a awning on ebay,i live in n.yorkshire its a ambassader 2502 with fibre glass poles its off a 14.6 swift danette.steve
