Hi

I need to buy a motor mover and have a max of £800 to spend, my van wieghs 1500kg loaded and my drive has a slop, the price needs to be fitted and I live in Suffolk/essex. I know nothing about them at all, but need to get one asap.

Cheers for your help in advance.

Happy caravanning!

Providing your 'van is Single Axle, then you should be able to get a "fitted deal" within your budget, for the PurpleLine Enduro mover. There must be plenty of "at home fitters" in your neck of the woods. There may be other makes available at that price, as some advertise "price matching". First get a quote, within your price range, then contact others, to ask if they will "Price Match".

Good luck!

We've got the PowrTouch 3 mover on our 1390kg van and it's fantastic. Without it we couldn't store our caravan at Rob's parents bungalow as we have a downhill slope with adverse camber and a tight gap to contend with to get it into it's space. With the mover it's a piece of cake and we can't recommend it highly enough. It comes in very handy on site too where you could face all sorts of conditions. Ours managed a steep muddy hill climb when the car towing couldn't!

After advice received on here, we searched the internet for the cheapest mover we could find from any manufacturer (at the time the purpleline/enduro mover) then we emailed Powrtouch and asked them to pricematch. They did so without hesitation and we got the Powrtouch 3 mover supplied, delivered and fitted by a mobile engineer that they arranged for

Forgot to mention we got ours in February 2008 but think you should still manage to get one in your budget.
