help or avdise req

i have just picked up my new caravan and was over the moon with it until me and the wife were looking around it when we got home, its an avondale argente 650/6 2005 model and my old caravan was 2003 argente 650/6, the problem is that they are advertising it as a 6 berth which it is but the lay out isnt what they say, theres no double in the back dinner only 2 x singles and 2 x bunks, the old caravan had a doulbe as well in the back aswel as the front, could anyone tell me if im reading the spec wrong on the avondale web site and what would you advise i do as yes im preased with the new van its not as they advertise ????

Just to help understand your problem - doesn't the caravan you bought tie up with the following specification published on the Avondale website?:

(data taken from http://www.avondalecaravans.co.uk/tourers/argente_spec1.html)

650-6

1 double 2125x1830(84"x72") or 2 singles 1830x760(72x30") + 2 singles 1840x650(72"x26") + 2 bunks 1720x530(68"x21") or one double 2125x1720(84"x68")

i have looked in the hand book that has come with the caravan and it says : 1 double 2125 x 1830 2 singles 760 x 1830 2 rear singles 1840 x 650 2 single bunks 1720 x 530 so in the hand book its telling me theres no rear double

Hi

From their website specs, I understand the rear bed can be used either as 2 singles or 1 double:-

1 double 2125x1830(84"x72") or 2 singles 1830x760(72x30") + 2 singles 1840x650(72"x26") + 2 bunks 1720x530(68"x21") or one double 2125x1720(84"x68")

Why not check by phoning the dealer? Presumably, they've taken a large sum of money from you - surely they would be happy to respond to an after-sale query?
