Everything in our caravan has been working tickety boo for some time now, the fridge is working beautifully, the cooker cooks so well, the pump is pumping as it should and everything is nice 'n' dry. Is this normal? After reading several posts on faults with and within caravans, I'm beginning to wonder if I have an abnormal caravan.

Does your caraan come without wheels, a-frame or tow-hitch? Is it made of bricks and always stays in the same position? Does it have an "upstairs"?

Mmmm...

Gary, what you have missed are all those things that are not working and because they are not you dont know .Also of course your van is of an age when they were built better the fact that it is still around proves it.

What on earth is that tower van all about? It's the most ostentatious tacky thing I've ever seen - but I want one! I can just imagine everyone's face at a 'well to do' site when you pull in with one of those (we usually get frowned upon with our 20 year old relic)

What on earth would you pull it with? 3 Range Rovers bolted together?

All fault statistics must allow for the exceptional caravan that doesn't have any.

Report your findings to every UK manufacturer - give them a target to aim at, long term.
