Hi folks,
I was just wondering whether anyone has a solution for fixed bed "roll together" essentially last september we bought our first fixed bed caravan a compass liberte air.
whilst we really love it there is just one problem, we find that we both end up rolling together in the middle of the bed ! it's a french bed with one piece latts and there is no central support, I can't seem to find any latts long enough to replace the current ones even if they have become a bit weak so i'm looking for alternative suggestions as to a solution.
does anybody have past experience of this ? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Neil

Friend of mine used a wooden strut and two lightweight scissor jacks.

I didn't have the 'roll on, roll off' problem.... although might have enjoyed it..... but the slats on my bed were too long and in danger of breaking when I climbed in.

I just made a wooden support to put underneath the centre of the slats to provide extra support.

Depends how handy you are.
