Help with awning zips please. !

Does anyone have a Camptech Atlantis DL?
We erected ours last week but had a job with the zips on the sides and tops of windows/door. Has anybody else found this difficult. Advice please?

Try rubbing a candle along them, or spray some silicon lubricant onto a cloth and wipe them. They will improve with use.

I found this to be excellent, it does exactly what it says on the tin and doesn’t smell like WD40 or GT85. I’ve used it on my awning rail, awning zips, door and hatch locks and most recently on the latches fitted to the drawers and wardrobes in my caravan which had become a little bit stiff over time.image.jpg

Wefound that if the awning wasn’t put up “square”; it was really difficult to close the door. This wasn’t about the zip but more about the awning being out of line and causing tension on the fabric.
