yep, highest is the MTPLM ie 900kg. the maximum weight of the van fully loaded. smallest is max nose weight ie 75kg. and the last one is the MIRO. 690kg "mass in running order" or the weight of the van as it left the factory empty. the difference between the two big weights ie 210kg is the user payload but this will include battery ,bottles, mover, ect as well as anything you actually put into the van. hope this helps.
oh and by the way with such a lightweight van be carefull NOT to overload it. 210kg of user payload seems a lot but it is not. with out all the kit in an awning can weight 35/40 kg as can a mover add to that bottles ect, the payload will be reduced to less than 100kg and one suitcase for air travel weighs 50kg max so you get some idea of the restrictions required.

That is a really heavy suitcase!! I thought the allowance was 20kg?

But anyway......as you say, a total payload of 210kg is not huge.

The MIRO does not include anything that was not supplied with the van originally.

thank you all for your help, that’s a relief, I thought the 690kg was the payload, added to the van weight of 900kg, total weight 1590kg, to much weight for the car to pull, therefore the tyres would be under ratted. although 1 tyre wall is cracked and will be replaced, all 3 wheel rims are different, 2 needs a repaint, so it leaves 1 155/70 tyre, and what was the new spare a 165/70 tyre (with new rim).
I am unable to find a match to the new rim, so am going to buy 3 new rims and possible 3 new tyres, this is subject to whether I either go for 155's or the 165's if I match the 165, it will cost about 2 x £65, so I am thinking going for all 3 at the cost of £45, and put the new spare wheel up for auction on ebay.
Once again thank you all. graham

hi graham.
glad the weight info was useful to you.
however I would be conserned about fitting the right tyres and rims to the van you give the tyre size as 155/70 or the spare as 165/70 but not the rim size or the load index of either tyre.
according to my tyre chart a axle weight of 900kg assuming the van was loaded to the max would require a tyre with minimum load index of above 80 this must be checked before buying new tyres because the load index increases with tread width the strongest 155/70 tyre I can find has a load index of 78 and a max load of 750 kg @ 30psi the 165/70 tyre has aload index of 79 and max load of 800kg @32 psi this is assuming the rims are 13in. neither of which would suit the van really. unless you know the load index and max pressure of the tyres you intend to use dont buy them check first.

Hi Colin,
Yes, this is something I need also help to sort out before purchasing new tyres, what size to go for,(155 or 165) and make sure the load index is correct for the van.

All tyres that came with the van have the weight index of 79 on them, the new & 1 old rim, have the markings of 4.5j x13, I can not see anything on the other one.
I was going to get the 3 new rims, all bearings and seals, plus other parts from here, www.trailertek.com/

I was hoping to find 2 new rims to match what was the spare wheel, but unable to, I am concerned, if I had to put this wheel on the van, be it just temporary, ( if I had a flat) and the worst happened, would I be insured, and possible fined., also the possibility of a total loss of van.
I definitely wont this to be right.

hi graham, looked on suggested web page and dont think the tyre size load index is right for your van. unless you buy the 13c 8ply ones.

the reason I am a bit sceptical of tyre construction is based on past experience and belive it is better to be over causious than sorry later. my van is a bailey ranger 380/2 similar to yours with a MTPLM of 1051kg the tyres fitted to it when bought were 165/80X13 with a load index of 78 and a speed rating of "P" the max pressure stamped on tyre was 33psi. on looking through the tyre chart available from. "tyresafe" felt they were under rated for the van, these were changed for a set of light commercial 175R 13C 6ply with a load index of 94 speed rating P and max pressure of 60psi. using the chart I determined the right pressures to be 42psi for the load carried, after fitting the difference in towing dynamics was remarkable with no side ways movment from the tyre walls even when fully loaded, towing was more stable and it sits slighly higher improving ground clearance on the mover motors it also improved grip from the mover rollers as there was less tyre deflection when the rollers are engaged.
I would suggest a similar tyre for your van inflated to 40psi because of the lower max load. as you intend to change the rims at the same time it would not hurt to up the width to 5J either.

all the best

Colin, I see where your coming from, but would 175 be to tall/wide with the 5j!!.
I'm not in a hurry any way, as I’ve got to next march before I’m on the road, new car mid march, possible the Zafira 1.7 or 1.9 diesel.
I don’t know what the standard tyres and wheels where for this van any way, the wheels/tyre could be totally wrong, that came with the van, possibly others could shed some light on this.
