An absolute gem on the coast. Lovely site with excellent clean facilities and helpful staff. Caravan pitches don't get much of a sea view though as the flat part of the site does have the railway between it and the sea, but a few steps from the van get you onto the promenade next to the massive beach and a lovely level walk into town.
Dog and kid friendly and an onsite shop and takeaway. All the seaside shops you could wish for in town too though out of peak season, some of them keep short opening hours. Recommend the Tal-Y-Don pub in town for food and drink; dog friendly in there too.
The drive down onto the site from the road is a bit steep, but theres a sign at the gate saying they do offer a tractor tow up the hill if requested.
We love it there; a summer without a trip to Barmouth is somehow incomplete.
