I'm Kay, a single mum van-dragger. Me and my 'little darlings' (little? aged 12 and 14!) have been caravanning for 5 years. Started off with an old Swift Corvette, upgraded to some heating few years back, now tow an Abbey Vogue GTS

Welcome, don't think you are being ignored but a lot of the lucky ones will be away in there van's, only people like me with work committments stay at home when the sun shines!! I only do rain LOL

HiKay;lovely to here from you nice to see single mums taking up caravanning;We came back to caravanning after our kids got married and left home they were brought up caravanning and enjoyed every minute hope they take it up but they have other hobbies.Keep.Have many hours of enjoyment in you"re caravan

I too was bought up the caravan way. We had a (very small) sprite with a top bunk that rolled out like a hammock and the table 'clicked' into place between the seats to make the double bed! You had to 'pump' the water by pressing up and down on a foot lever. It slept dad, mum, sister, me and the dog!! Right up until I turned over on the top bunk and put my knee though the front window (ooops). Spent 3 days in Newquay looking for a replacement window (dad was not a happy bunny) After that mum slept with sister, i had bottom bunk and dad and dog went into awning!! Oh happy days....
