hi everyone

hello from sunny Portugal,( except its hammering down right now)...... new to this forum and this world generally...

looking forward to collective brain picking and info gathering and sharing ...lots of questions to ask of experienced campers and have experience of living here for twenty something years so if I can help on other topics , go ahead.....

Hi and welcome to the Forum. I'm certain that your knowledge of Portugal will prove to be invaluable. In the meantime why not add a note in the 'where are you' section?

The weather here in the Dordogne is not much better but without the floods down in the South East 🙁

Hi Retread this is going to sound like the ancient Homer Simpson line (instruction) '....press any key to continue...' () HS ..'where's the any key? '...

but where's the' where are you' link

Anyway.....I have a chance at a 1980 Sherpa van with factory or anyway professional camper conversion...but its old and tired engine-wise and a dreadful 1.8 BMC diesel which was bad to start with... various questions as to alternatives... I will post in the tech section regards UJ

Hi Jonathan, and welcome.
If you look down to the Regional Chit Chat section and click on Europe, you'll find a Portugal heading - with nothing in it yet, so it's all yours!
As for the van you mentioned, during this year Gentleman Jack did a series in the magazine, in which he transferred the innards of an old Sherpa campervan into the later Pilot version. Might be of interest?
