I might be classed as a new member but we have enjoyed caravanning for the past 40+ years. Within that time we have probably only missed a few years without a van and even if we had a van, we might not have used it every season. We have made quite a few trips over to Europe with various vans with Venice being the furthest travelled with the van. We have always tried to go for the twin axel vans as they were my preferred choice for space and towing. Currently I have a 2012 Vanmaster 640 and tow it with an Audi A8. We bought the van used when it was around 18m old and with hindsight, I should never have bought it due to the build quality issues that has blighted our previous 7 years experience.
