Due to car, Astra 1.7 diesel, looking at lightweight caravans. So far seen lunar ariva 2 berth which after checking is an ideal combination with the car. Anybody know of any other makes/models around 960 mtplm please to give us a choice? Many thanks all

What's the kerbweight/MIRO of your Astra? Our Astra 1.7 diesel is just over 1500 kg so that gives an 85% of approx 1275 kg which is higher than your quoted value of 960 kg. The max tow weight is 1300 kg. A Lunar Quasar 462 (2 berth) has an MTPLM of 1210 kg.
 
The kerb weight is shown as 1385kg. With the Ariva this gives me 70% and states a perfect combination although I do know they advise 85% as a maximum. This is why I was looking at lighter ones as it will just be for the 2 of us this seemed an ideal model as we like the layout as well. Many thanks for your teplies.
