Hi from Northern Ireland

Just bought a touring caravan again after 10 years owning a static. We are so excited about getting out and about, especially with our 2 young children. We had a touring caravan for about 7 years (no children then), so are looking forward to family holidays. Never been out of Ireland touring before so roll on next summer. We are going away at end of month for a few nights to try it out, should be fun. The forum is quite addictive, my hubby just pleased i'm not on facebook.

Hi Olive,

I hope you enjoy your tourer. If you are planning a visit to Scotland next year, you do not have to drive too far from either Stranraer or Cairnryan as there are a lot of good touring sites in Dumfries and Galloway, off the A75(Stranraer to Carlisle)

Hi Olive, You made me laugh, my hubby despairs at my facebook addiction! We travelled to Northern Ireland for the first time this summer and loved it. We stayed at Ballyness Caravan site in Bushmills. It was a fantastic site! The ferry between Stranraer and Belfast worked out great and the kids loved it. We broke up the journey by staying at New England Bay CC site in Drummore, in the Mull of Galloway, Scotland. It was a beautiful place with amazing views and the site had it's own beach, kids heaven! Might be one to remeber if you head over this way?

Enjoy!

Angel
