Hi all
i used to have a caravan and had for about 10 years and then moved to a boat and had that for 10 years and have just sold it and bought a caravan again.

when i was boating i set up a facebook group called boating uk and it was great fun we used it to keep in touch with boaters all over the UK and ask who was out, what the sea was like etc post pictures of the location and it worked well.

i thought i would do the same here and have set up a facebook page for caravaners, and im not allowed to post a link so if you use facebook search for caravaning and camping for fun. not join us its all simple and easy.
my new caravan arrives on Sunday.

Welcome. I still have my boat (Sadler29, which I've had for over 30yrs). Added the caravan 3yrs ago. Even though retired, it's really hard work making good use of both

Welcome Phiĺ . Sorry abouut the hiccup on the entry to the forum. Aĺl the best , been spiñakers and mains in Trinidad and can just about turn a laser on my own.
But can reverse my van if no ones looking. hmy:

I found that in the early stages, so 1 had to go and the caravan lost, was a lot less traffic on the water, but at £15k a yr before I used it I think it was time to go.

Welcome to the forum. We are not into facebook though.

I can understand that and everything has a place, if you need advice on your hot water system you place a question and a few days later you return to see the replies easily found. Facebook that would disappear down the list. However a picture of your caravan on site on a sunny day you would share on the Facebook group. Or you just decide to go away you know all sites are going to be full at least the good ones, so you ring round to see, or put a post on anybody in x area is there any spaces. It's quicker and easier as most is done from your phone.
