Hi from sunny/rainy Derbyshire

Hi everyone
new here but some of you may know me from other forums. Just ordered my sixth caravan, so guess Im still new to this game compared to some.

My outfit is a Swift Challenger Hi Style 524 pulled by a Shogun 3.2 Elegance having just changed both car and caravan. Finally semi-retired after years of tramping Europe by HGV and looking forward to using the van more and finally getting some real value out of it. No intention of taking the caravan abroad, seen the place, wasnt impressed, so our normal destinations are Cornwall/Devon/Dorest and Scotland. Not much else to tell, two kids, both flown the nest, and now a new grandfather which probably means I will be back to caravanning in the dreaded school holidays. ๐Ÿ™

Oh and sorry about the avatar. Its one I use for a different forum, ARRSE (Army Rumour Service) and for some reason its come up here automatically. Still trying to find a way to change it to cater for the more delicate souls. :cheer:

Hello Thingy! Welcome to the Forum. I'm sure you will find lots to interest you on the many sections of the site.
Best regards Brian

Hi Thingy,
Welcome to the forum, and enjoy.

You say it's persistently pouring in Derbyshire, its not much better here, just had a hailstorm. But we know that summers here because the rain has got warmer.
Hope it improves next w/e as were off to Cambridge (45 mins away) for a week.

Best Wishes,

Sir Brian (and Lady G) of Stevenage.

Hi Thingy. Welcome to the forum. I like the avatar but can see the sensitivity issue. This forum grabs your avatar from Gravatar so if your other forum uses this host as well it will appear in this forum automatically. You may have to change it on Gravatar. (I am not techno savvy so this may not be well explained.)
welcome anyway
