Hi from Wales

Hi to all. Have just joined this site but we have been caravanning since 1981 (can it be that long?). We are Peter and Dilys and are from South Wales. Our outfit is a 2007 Bailey Pageant Burgandy towed by a Kia Sorrento.
Have travelled several times to France and recently to Spain for short (2 week) visits and over the last few years, since retiring have been to New Zealand and Canada, touring around in a rental motorhome.
Our next long trip is to Italy in September, taking 6 to 8 weeks so will shortly be looking for advice.
Peter

Welcome Peter, from a fellow resident of GoC.(aka south east Wales). We also spend a lot of time touring in Europe, generally for two or three months at a time, but I'm always glad to cross the bridge back into the greatest little country in the world.

Thank you emmerson, and yes its always nice to cross that bridge. Had our first taste of winter rally November last year when we spent 2 weeks in Allcosebre. Trying it out and can understand why people spend a few months away. Will be thinking of it again especially if this retched weather keeps up.🙂 🙂

Hi Peter and Dillys, Welcome to the Practical Caravan forum

There are one or two enthusiastic Sorrento owners on the forum and the Overseas Parks and Touring message board is full of helpful advice. I hope that you will enjoy using the forum.
