Hi Folks. Just joined today. I live in Rochdale. Been caravanning for 32 years now. Turned 80 last week. Present caravan is an August 2015 Lunar Ariva (my third) ----easy to handle as we get older. Towcar is a new model Sportage 2.0 crdi 4x4 Auto---my second Sportage---very pleased with it. Unfortunately the 'van is in dock at the moment for a complete new front panel due to cracks appearing in the fibreglass. I wonder if they are trying too much to reduce weight. This 'van is 40 kgs lighter than the previous Ariva in spite of a fitted microwave now included. I would like to know if other members have had the same problem ?? Welcome, Jeff, my Coachmans in for a cracked ABS rear panel, looked at new vans and they are getting flimsy as they try to save weight. So sticking to this one, hope you have many more happy touring years to come.

Welcome to the forum. Pity about the front panel but this seems to be a problem across most makes at the moment although Lunar seem to be one of the least affected.

Sorry to hear about the problem with your caravan. We seem to hear a lot more about this happening nowadays.
