Hi

Hi
I am new to this site and look forward to hearing from you all.

We have been caravanners for years from our first damp ridden caravan bought as novices in 1982 in which you had to perform a one legged tap dance to get water from a spurting tap to our latest caravan which we love.

Our children and grandchildren love the hobby too.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Annie, welcome to the forum! I'm sure you'll enjoy all the chat and cameraderie that abounds here.

Ah! The foot-operated water pump! I remember them well, as well as draughty, single glazed windows. Yep, been there and done that, too!

Hope you've got lots of trips planned for the summer!

Hi since my last post we have been to France and Germany. We has a beautiful site overlooking the Rhine near Koplenz then back up to Dunkirk. We had a brilliant time, though a cupboard door fell off, and the so called intelligent taps in our new caravan weren't. Most amusing trip was a candlelit tour of a castle, with the English translation that couldn't be read by candlelight but a stunning cruise of the Rhine. Brilliant. Can't wait to wind the legs and go again.
