Anybody been with a T/A?

I am considering booking this site for a weekend to visit relatives, according to the website they have a 8.5m restriction, due to access issues, our 'van is 8m!!

Hi Wendy, it's been four or five years since we were last there. It's a nice site split into two areas, an open grass area by reception and a wooded area. I can see there could be some problems for very long outfits but as you are below the 8.5m restriction you should be ok. We had a single axle 7m van at the time and had no difficulty at all.

I suspect this is because it's an old site - I stayed there in the early 1970s with many of the pitches cut into the hillside and not all that long. This was not a problem until fairly recently. There are pitches behind reception which should not have this problem and aslo some right at the bottom of the site. I suspect they have published a limit just in case someone turns up with a monster van when the site is getting towards full.

You should be fine at 0.5 m below their "limit"
