Ah your windyship nice to see you back ,I have done my best to look after the the peasents in your absence

What with looking after Buggram Hall and watching on here here its a life sentence

Welcome Back

Sir Roger
Farty old bean, nice to see you again. I have heard the peasants are revolting, that's probably how the lead went missing from the roof of Screwham Hall. My good friend Hezza is going to help a poor destitute Windy out though by dipping his hand in his ass pocket for a few coppers :O)

Thank God that you are back Marj, sorry, LordB.

I realy need help and guidance, since my grandaughters got a puppy I find myself more and more drawn to dogs. I often look after and walk a friends dog when were at home, but recently I keep getting a nagging feeling that my wife and I should get a dog.

LB. Can you please help with some of your good advice? The problem is I keep dreaming that it has to be a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and I'm sure I keep seeing large photos's of them. I've also developed an unhealthy interest in buying a fancy camera and getting bags full of lenses and filters to photograph Poochy Euro ;)

Hi Euro

You must have taken the exif off my photos then, the only thing I find spooky is that you know I use filters. I only use filters for seascapes and landscapes so how did you know that?

I've forgot how to do the pics plus I've forgot my Photobucket password :O(

Excellent pics you've posted. I daren't show your Gaylord to my little Bailey though because he'll make him poop himself.

I still find it difficult saying gay lord ... heh! heh! heh!

No, LB, little Gaylord was socialised from birth to date with everything, including other dogs, (carried from the age of eight weeks till second vac) he wouldn't bully your little pup. A dog (adult) which won't accept a pup, or bullies a pup is a dog with problems.

Hi Euro, don't have any fear of having a healthy interest in dogs unless you get strange feelings when a ***** is in heat. Dogs are wonderful for helping with stress, just stroking them helps relieve it. The problems start when you find you have your snout in the dogs dish and you need to bury your food. It can also get embarrassing if you have friends round and get the urge to hump a leg. If this happens get your wife to take you to a vet straight away to get yourself neutered.

Goodness gracious me and blow me down. I never noticed you were about Lisa as I was just so excited to see LB is back and that I could again call on him for guidance :)

If you want to get good clarity in the wide open outside any half decent photographer will at least have a polarising filter ;)

I have also been known to take the odd snap myself and had a few published.

I have a heliopan polorizing filter but as you must know, it's at its best when used 90 degrees to the sun. It's not really any use for a dog or horse in flight if you want to freeze action which I mainly do. And moving animlas are unpredictable, unlike static land/seascape shots. I got some lovely sun rise shots last week on the beach, I also used grads to slow the water down. But, seascapes and landscapes aren't my bag at the moment, I mainly do event photography.

Three Schnauzers. Muffin the oldest is pepper and salt, she was 15 in June. Polly is a black and silver and she's 7 and now Bailey a black who is 9 weeks old.
Bless. Two suit me, however, I do like Afghans (dog's, not the terrorists LOL!), they can be quite a challenge which I like.

My two have both done the KC good cits bronze, silver and gold and I have been doing agility with litle Gaylord but try as he might, he just can't beat those bloomin collies, they leave him miles behind.

I don't think some old industry photo's of middle east building projects would interest anybody here Lisa.

I mainly use a 10mp Canon compact camera and 5mp phone camera these days and just blast away(the beauty of digital, no wasted film) when something takes my eye, often when out cycling.

I'd love to post a few snaps here but I understood that you and others keep the magic recipe for adding photo's to yourselves.

Create an account at Photobucket or some similar site and then upload your pics to it. When uploaded copy the http link and paste it in a post on here. As long as you leave the pic on Photobucket it will stay on the forum but if you delete the pic it will no longer show. If possible resize your pics before uploading else they might come out too large on the forum.

No chance of that pic being me, LB. Skye is much better looking than I am ! Those shots are two a series that LMH took when she visited the Royale club rally last June. The rest are all action shots of the collie. Lisa has a hidden talent with a camera.

BTW, why is this thread so wide? I have to go next door to see the end of it!

I'm probably to blame for the thread being too wide, my photos are too large. LOL!

Hi euro, nice pics, love the Mastiffs.

I like the one taken on your hols. I attempted some seascapes last week, as I say, it's all alien to me but here's a couple. Unfortunately there wasn't any foreground interest but the skies were spectacular well worth getting up at 4am.
