Hitchhiking with a caravan from Germany to Iran

It's fairly easy German to follow, even at my VERY basic level. .......but much more fun (and easier) using Google Translate (on the PC)!. 🙂

The adventure is a good trick if they can pull it off, and come back alive. But you still have to ask WHY?

I wouldn't fancy hand hauling mine to the main road and thumbing a hitch ! Heavy enough getting it onto the drive !!

A caravan can always provide a pillow to rest your head but in this case I hope that these guys end up with a head to rest on the pillow :woohoo:
Good Luck, you'll need it B)

I have to say that if I was driving down the road I would be extremely unlikely to pick up a hitcher, and certainly would not be attaching their caravan to the back of my car. Wait until they meet the first iranian farmer driving an ex KGB Zil and has never towed a caravan. Throw in some of the iranians back roads and they will be lucky to have an axle to rest their heads on, if indeed they still have them.

Maybe they will will fancy Helmand next year.
