One of the lads in the office has been offered a Hobby caravan which is either the 560 or 650 model, twin axle, five berth with swinger fixed bed at back.
The owner, new to caravaning, bought if for £9,000 from a private dealer and is asking £7,000 for it.
My questions are: I belive not many UK sites will take Hobbies and also are the Hobbies mentioned 8ft wide and therefore illegal on the UK roads and also do they need a commercial license to tow one?
They are hoping to tow with a Land Rover Discovery.
I would hate to give them the wrong advice and they get into trouble with the law.
