In the mid to late 70’s many of us scousers would never miss Billy Butler and his producer Wally on radio Merseyside. Not much music was played. Just a simple phone in competition. Listeners would be given a simple question, then as many clues as needed to get to an answer. Sounds daft, but this was unbelievably hilerious.
One lady was asked for Hitlers first name. After about 5 mins she thought she had it. “Herr’ she exclaimed.
What reminded me was Billy was mentioned on Facebook as being 84.
