has anyone been here,it looks really nice,ideal for a weekend to chill.yes it is pricey but it sounds great.

Yes loads of times, going again this weekend and leaving van till after 1/2 term. Its only 40 miles from me so we tend to use it as often as possible for weekends. Hard ground though if you want to put an awning up. One consolation is that they sell hard ground pegs in the shop if you forget them.

Re silverdale I stayed on it many years ago and it was a good site then, however if memory serves me correctly the road in was very narrow. Has this changed?

No unfortunatly the road is still the same, there is about 1/2 mile where meeting another outfit coming the other way is a bit tricky. Has only happened to me once though in all the years of going.
