Holiday cancellation/pitch for sale

Due to an operation being required we have had to cancel our family booking from 3-13 August 2006 at Shamba Holiday Park near Ringwood and the New Forest. Due to their conditions we are not entitled to a refund but could have a transferable credit note for use another time. Due to an ongoing illness and other circumstances we would prefer to recoup some of the cost if possible as we do not know at this stage when or if we can go another time. The booking is for 2 adults, 2 children (includes 2 extra infants but these are not charged for at 5 and under). Well regarded site (good write ups inc Alan Rogers). Has brand new indoor pool (converts to outdoor) and leisure and toilet/shower facilities etc which are free to use. Shop, bar,takeaway, play area etc. Good facilities but not a large commercialised site - see website, www.shamba.co.uk Very family oriented, lovely area, popular site, full in peak season. Meant to say we can transfer the pitch booking as it stands or transfer the credit note, depending on a potential buyers preference. This has been verified as acceptable by the owner but of course we could get this in writing for you.
