Holiday Disaster

Hi folks,

My son and his family should now be travelling back north ( 5 days late ) from Longleat.

They had only just settled in when 11year old Sarah went down with D&V.As it didn't clear up after 5 days they went to Bath Hospital last Friday, and she was kept in overnight for observation.Saturday morning they took out her appendix which by this time was leaking pus into her abdomen. This was the day they were supposed to be coming home!!!

The wardens at Longleat told them not to worry about anything ( the site was fully booked )

Mum spent the next 3 days sleeping in a very uncomfortable chair at the hospital and my son racked up the miles going backwards & forwards between Bath & Longleat.

I have a feeling that this is a holiday they won't forget in a hurry.

Hope all is well now Maureen, these youngsters aren't long before they are up and back on their feet. If it was me I'd still be in bed a month later doting on all the attention and being waited upon :O)

Mo.

Hope all continues to go well. It is always frustrating when grandparents (and you looking so young)are outside the loop while your children solve the problem for themselves. No matter how old they are.

Norfolk Mike,

You've been peeping again you naughty boy....you ought to see me when I pull my face mask off 😱(
