I went there for whitsun in the rain, great clubhouse, fab pool it can get overcrowded best to stay up towards the entrance as the trains are quite noisy but you get used to it and the main burnham road is very close so pitch in between and you`ll be ok, would not recommend if you have a dog apart from that its good

One thing to look out for....

I helped my mate pitch at Home Farm last year, as his car was out of commission. After ages waiting on arrival, we were led to his pitch by a lad in a buggy. Pitch was empty, but on looking, all the mains points were in use. OK - chased after the lad, and he led us to another pitch. Same problem with no hook-up, however. In the end he left us to look for an empty pitch with hook-up. Make sure your pitch has hook-up, in case. Seemed to me like they were packing in more vans than the site could cope with - squeezing them in everywhere.

Very tight manoeuvering around - at one point, we had to move someone's windbreak, just to drive down the "road." Beware if someone's coming the other way!

Site very crowded and appeared noisy/wild.

I live about 10 mins drive from this site and pass it on the main road into Burnham-on-Sea on a regular basis during the summer.

I guess it depends on what you like but I have to agree with Jeff. It is very crowded during the summer months and they do tend to squeeze the vans in. The pitches are not particularly big.

However they do have a big club house and pool etc. so I guess it really depends on what you want out of your holiday. Personally I prefer somewhere a bit quieter.

Mark.
