Hello All,

Recently got one of these, and although I have not towed with it yet, I have found it to be a terrific car in every respect. Honda themselves however lack knowledge when it comes to anything technical! Has anyone used the PC Card system with the Honda audio set up, and if so, can you tell me which card I need to use. Any advice gratefully received.

I have the I-pod connector fitted to the back of the head unit. The lead comes out into the top glove box and I leave my ipod connected all the time. The only problem is you have to set up playlists and call them Honda 1, 2, 3 etc for the stereo to see them, you can put as many songs in as you want to each folder, but the track names don't come up on the head unit.

If you have another MP3 player there is a input socket in the middle storage box.

Rod - I thought my husband had written your message! We have also recently bought - and love - a Honda CR-V and were wondering about the PC card. The dealer seems unable to give us any answers about how it works, the local computer shop says PC cards are 'obselete' and the computer geek we have for a son-in-law was also unable to help. An internet trawl has also proved unhelpful. At present we use an MP3 player connected via the auxilliary socket but would love to know more about the Pc card.

PS Did you have the Honda dealer fit your towbar or did you use a towbar specialist?

Hello Annie,

Glad you are enjoying your CR-V. In answer to your tow bar question, I had an 'approved' towbar company fit a Witter detachable for

Many thanks for that link - very useful - and humourous info- on that site.

Rob

Having looked at some info on said site - have you found a memory card which works in the sound system? If so which one please?

Hello Annie,

Glad you have the sound sorted. I have been transferring all of my CD's (grammaphone records) onto the card, and I just put the last three on this morning! As you say, the sound is fantastic- and I've got enough on the card to see me out!! How are you enjoying the car - so far I have found it to be an excellent vehicle. I did a short tow and it behaved perfectly.

Hi Rod

Loving the car but not towed as yet - obviously cos we need to fit a towbar next!! We are caravan novices and are still looking for a van - off to the NEC in a few weeks time to the Caravan show for more ideas. We still have a LOT to learn!!

Hope to talk to you again soon.

Annie
