The salesman was a caravanner and he told me about the oil, so have a 4 litre can in back!!CRV very smooth towing vehicle - power and torque tends to be at higher revs then previous car (x-trail) so you need to rev it to get going. 25mpg about right when worn in, but did dip to around 20mpg in France last summer with only a couple of thousand on the clock - it also took a gulp or two of oil too (light coming on twice on way toLyon. I was told this is normal until engine well used and it has not been a problem since. Lovely car all round and the most car like to drive out of all the SUV's I have had. Enjoy your trip (but take a litre or two of oil!)
