i saw i sticker in a car window which said "I PASS HORSES WIDE AND SLOW". i thought 'god, thats really got to hurt'.

I think this topic could be included under the heading of overweight caravanners in the General section of this forum. What is the average weight of a horse? Do you need some form of enima to pass such a large animal?

The average weight of a 16:2hh thoroughbred is about half a tonee.

Actually that is the metric tonne - imperial ton slightly heavier: 1 metric tonne = 1000kg or 2200lbs (approx)

1 imperial ton = 2240lbs.

when we're talking of passing one wide and slow i dont think 40lb will make it any less painful !
