can anyone solve my dilema..if i run the cold water in the sink no water comes through..if i turn the hot water on i can then turn the cold on and the water comes through until i turn the hot off..all works well in shower room.A one had a similar problem.

We have a similar problem in the bathroom - sometimes the cold water won't switch on; however if I switch it to hot it will start running and I can craftily turn it back to cold!

I don't know what causes it - it seems like the hot water running is helping to syphon the cold.

So, I will be as interested as you in any other replies.

I'm sorry if you've read this far expecting a solution to your problem!
 
You need to replace the micro switch on the cold tap, this turns the pump on. When you turn the hot tap on this turns on the pump, so as the pump works both hot & cold systems you can now get cold water. Simple really.

Steve thanks for the info will have a look tomorrow didn't have a clue. Thats what I like about this forum the knowledge is endless.
