Hi

Can anyone offer some advice. We are travelling down to Spain next July, we would like to stay near to Paris for 2 or 3 days, we have our caravan but friends are coming with us and they would like to stay in a hotel.

Does anyone know of a camp site near to a hotel so that this could happen?

Thank you

Gail

Hi Gail

We spent 4 nights last June at Camping International, Maisons Lafitte. This is a nice suburb of Paris with a good rail/metro line into the city, approx 20 mins. There are what look like decent hotels in Maisons Lafitte. The site is on the bank of the Seine, pretty busy and is used by Eurocamp and Keycamp, and is an easy 10 min. stroll to town centre and station.

Facilities for campers were in need of updating and pitches were ok-ish but generally in need of tidying. Didnt cause us much problem because we were out sightseeing 90% of the daytime.

Hi John

Now we are sorted, our friends have chosen and booked the Ibis hotel, according to the map is 700m away from the camp site. Roll on next summer!!

Thanks for replying.

Regards

Gail
