There may be issues with some high tech cars, even if you change a light bulb they require re-programming by the dealership as we found out after having a fuel injector changed on a previous vehicle. The injector was changed by a professional diesel shop.
A lot of times, when working on vehicles, the battery will be disconnected, after this the car will have to be " reprogrammed", this mostly involves resetting things like the windows, ( for automatic opening, if a hand gets caught in them) and resetting the radio.

I think with the Jeep the batteries need to be disconnected for awhile before it loses the memory.

The chap in Wakefield will also remove and refit the repaired headlamp for Circa £100. If Kia don’t help looks like Wakefield for a visit , will get both lights done.
The light unit is very easy to replace, remove wheel well clips then the upper screws to radiator front, and the bumper unit just pulls away. Light has 4 screws. I would come over and do it for you but my Carpal tunnel problem is getting worse. Might drive over and show you.

I honestly cannot envisage CMC Kia getting you to anywhere near a satisfactory cost outcome. The Wakefield option seems a professionally run business specialising in keeping older cars running. My granddaughter noticed something in her Peugeot 208 engine compartment loose and rattling. The local independent charged her £20 to spot weld the catalytic converter cover back in place. There are indies geared to keeping older vehicles running. But I guess a lot depends on how you see your future motoring needs.
