The time before last was a pair of new towing mirrors, that ended up in a 6 berth Coachman! Certainly avoiding the shows this year as well!!!!!!!!

went to my dealers to book the caravan in to have the heating looked at, and walked out with a Peg 2 - How did that happen??? simples, I was silly enough to take SWMBO with me

Been there done that last weekend, my wife said why don't we pop to White Arches after my son and I went Clay shooting, few hours later waked out after ordering a brand new Sterling, it seems my wife had been thinking but I had no idea, thought just going to look around and pick up a few bits !

We went to the NEC show in Feb to look at a few cars - show the other half Disco's and Volvo's. We came back with a new Coachman !! Cheaper than a new car though.

From a SWMBO I have the opposite. We went to the dealers to suss out porch awnings which was a success (as the dealer put us in touch with someone who was selling a nearly new one....). However, on leaving, I fancied a bit of a fix by looking at the new vans despite being very pleased with my current one. HWMBO could not understand that spending hours looking at vespa scooters without any intention of adding to the collection was acceptable, but not mooching around a dealers for a fix...

We popped into Carlisle Caravans on a return trip from Galloway to pick up some spare hose, SWMBO started looking at £10.000.00+ caravans. Mercifully, I am trained in Home Office approved defence and restraint techniques. I managed to escort her to the car, and spent less than a fiver, what a result!!

It happened to all of you purely because a) you have too much money! or b) not enough willpower, or c) if it was pressure from swmbo, you'll do anything for a quiet life!

April 2010 went to Leisure sales to replace empty gas cylinder, for our 2008 Firestar, ended up ordering a 2010 Lunar Clubman SE delivered 7 weeks later, her that has to be obeyed had seen it at the Manchester 2010 show, thought l had persuaded her not to bother. Fell on stony ground big end bathroom sealed the deal plus the Aldi heating and the other features that come with the Lunar at that time. Consequently haven’t taken her to dealers this year.
