How Do I Insert a Photo?

Hi...On another thread I see there are photos added to comments. I tried the normal cut and paste but can't get it to work.

Any Techies tell me what am I doing wrong, what I need to do to add a picture onto this forum?

Create an account at www.putfile.com then upload your pics to that site.

When the pic is uploaded click copy where it says HTML then post that link into the comment box on here.

If you need to make a comment type that first into the PC comments box then paste the HTML link underneath.

Thanks guys....Gavin, could not get your method to work but Lord Braykewynde's route worked ok...Might have something to do with him being close to royalty?

Please be aware that if you post a picture to putfile you are giving that picture and all the rights to them. for normal pictures its not a problem. They have the right to use that picture for any use they see fit under their terms and conditions.

The form at http://uk.geocities.com/steve.parkes@btinternet.com/others/forum can be used for almost any picture on the internet.

Steve...many thanks for the advise regards Putfile terms and conditions. I suppose, like most people I did'nt read the full terms and conditions.

I actually opened the account, transferred the photo then removed it from my putfile account. So presumably it is no longer available?

You have the option of deleting it and also the option of whether you want the pic to be made public or not. As long as you upload pics like the one you did they are of no use to anyone else.
