How do you make up your fixed bed.

My wife is finding it very awkward to use a fitted bottom sheet on our Abbey318 fixed bed van,she has to climb on to the bed to fit the sheet lifting the mattress then is not easy. I am sure thre must be an easier way.Many thanks,Denis.

We have a waffle sponge overlay which we put inside a duvet cover.

We previously had a fitted sheet secured with clip on elastic braces (trouser kind)

Hi Denis,

My first attempt to put the bottom sheet on sounded similar to your wife's experience.

2nd attempt we lifted the mattress off and stood it on its side and then fitted the sheet on and lifted the mattress back....seemed a lot easier than climbing all over it and nearly losing finger nails !!
