Hi it's me again (the new caravaner)

Went away for a week with my caravan for the second time, and still I could'nt get our 12volts system to work .We did have hook up point but I thought I would have a bash at trying to get this 12vlt working from battery. But no way.I ask Peter the sight manager and he checked the switches and thought there was no power getting to battery but it wasn't flat either.He was Confused So am I .Can anyone out there Please Please Help .All the 12vlt lights, fridge do work when hooked up.But when unhooked from site Nothing!!!!!
 
First, your fridge will not work off your caravan battery. It only runs on 12v when you are connected to your car, with engine running.

For your lights to work from the caravan battery you need to set your 3 position switch to "van". If you have and it still doesn't work then you need to look for the fuse (probably an in-line fuse) for the 12v system and check it.

Thanks for your reply I will try that.So what does work off the 12v system ? Is it only my lights in van?
