How does this light come apart?

As per thread title, how can I get the cover off this awning light to replace the bulb? Thanks in advance

Squeeze to release the lugs. Hope the plastic has not gone too brittle with sun and time.

Possibly internal either side, so gentle pressure across the sides. Failing that either side of the black switch.

Quite an old one by todays standards, but I seem to remember 4 lugs, each abaut an inch in from the corners along the long sides. Been a few years mind since I change a bulb in one.

Gently press the sides and it should release the lugs and then put in your new bulb

pre warm it, hold a kettle under it to steam heat the plastic, a hair drier will do as well, you dont want it melting but as warm as possible to make it more flexible and not sun dried brittle
