Well I have my car returned to me for a second time. Only problem is it’s in a worse condition.
The 1st time the ripple was still in the wheel arch and shoddy paint work and the bumper was still pushed forward under the nearside rear lights.
Complained to the well known Insurance Company, the course of action was to return my car to garage for inspection and if the garage found it was their fault to put it right.
Ok.
Only the courtesy car garage had to provide they wanted me to insure. Oh no no no we said that your problem....In the end the INS CO said I could have a car as before from Enterprise... only when I got there the guy wanted me to sign so my insurance could be transferred onto their car. No no no I said the well known INS CO are doing that. 45 minutes later sorted, when we got outside and he handed me the key for car no not a car it was a tin can I couldn’t believe it where was my like for like but at that point I couldn’t be bothered.
Now my car has flat ripples inside the wheel arch and both wheel arches have been pulled out and the bumper has been painted the wrong colour and the bumper is damaged underneath and the bumper is damaged in the centre and the bumper is still pushed forward under the lights.
Just to cap it all the woman dealing with our case has taken a day off !!!! Grrrrrrrrr

When I took my car to local garage they said a new bumper, Well, it’s going to cost the well know one of the big 3 insurance company even more money now..
More waiting more time to sort it, more time for my car at the garage again and most probably

Another tincan which I will have to suffer....

I assume the insurer directed you to the garage. If so you should write to the insurer with an official complaint and advise the insurer that the repair is not satisfatory and that you no longer have faith in their garage and you want the work carried out by a garage of your choosing and a loan car while it is. Say the insurer should deal with this under their complaints procedure and if you do not get a satisfactory reply you will take the matter to the Ombudsman. If you can get a garage to give you a report on the work send a copy with photos if possible.
