How much bigger will caravans get?

I doubt that is a serious concern.

It would need a fair bit of weight to be taken out but even now caravans can be blown over. The lighter they get the more susceptible they would be.

BE licences are fine up to 7 tonnes combined MAM and some older ones can go even heavier. so I don't see that being a legal impediment.
Caravans are already built to the legal maximum size, so cannot get any larger without a change in the law which was the basis of the comment. As cars get lighter I doubt there is room for increased weights but possibly electric cars batteries might add enough weight to make this possible, but I doubt it.
