Hello Jayne

When we purchased our Suncamp Scenic Plus awning it came complete with a repair kit. Are you sure you haven't got one somewhere.

Failing this try contacting United British Caravans (Newcastle upon Tyne) who may be able to help with a suggestion on repair. They are a very helpful company (I have nothing to do with them except being a customer!).

Latest advertisement can be found on p154 May 2007 Practical Caravan Magazine.

Hope you don't have to throw it away.

Its well worth asking at any caravan retailer you know.

Here in leicester the caravan centre have a department that

sells secondhans stuff and a team that alters and repaires

awnings.

Cannot be the only place that does it.

Hello Jayne,

Most awnings can be repaired if it is a straightforward rip. As Giovanni suggests contact your dealer, or any good camping shop. They should be bale to put you in touch with a tent/awning repairer.

If you go to a Sailing shop, they have wide tape in various colours used for temp. repairs to spinnakers (dinghys etc) "spinnaker repair tape".

Or find a local Sailmaker in Yellow pages?
