Been there! Was last there in March for a week. Usual CC site standards, 2 toilet blocks. Hardstandings and grass pitches. Excellent pub "The Silent Woman" ? about 1/2 mile outside site gates that does excellent meals etc. but be careful if you are walking back to the pub in the dark, cars move at a fair lick along the road outside the site. Nearest Spar supermarket about 2 miles away towards Wareham,(get directions form site office) plus a large supermarket in Wareham (about 3 miles from site), can't remember it's name, don't do supermarkets. First class walking and mountain biking in Wareham Forest adjacent. Best beaches at Weymouth approx 30 mins away, also has cinema, theatre, sealife centre etc. Some excellent birdwatching opportunities in area if that is your thing!
