I think this quote sums it up perfectly.

fauts and recall are diffrent just because a car sells more dont mean its ok to have more faults ,

A lack of recalls doesn't mean that the cars are any more reliable.

We had a recall on our 2011 Ford Fiesta two weeks ago and when I phoned the nearest ford dealer they knew nothing about it! No mwention of Ford in the article. At least you know Vuaxhall is doing something positive about issues.

It just means more research and development has gone into it.Surely thats got to make it more reliable at least in the terms of less trips back to the agent for rectifications on recalls.
