I FEEL REALLY GUILTY

I have, for the first time in almost 11 years, really let flip at my daughter - who managed to turn a 1 minute walk home from school into 47 minutes.

I was so worried about her, I shouted and emptied her room of electrical goods, and grounded her indefinately.

I have had such a rough day at work and I feel so guilty now, I could cry!

Don't feel guilty Lolly, daughters in particular can be very trying at times, they have no idea of the anguish they put you through when they do things like this.

When my daughter was the same age, she was a pain in the backside. She was determined to have her own way, and when confronted she would go to her room and literally scream the house down. We did the groundings and deprivation. It gets to a point when they realise that you do these things for their own good, so there is light at the end of the tunnel - eventually!!

Our daughter is now 27, married, and she's still a pain in the bum!! Ha ha!!

I hated my daughter at times when she was a teenager, the constant battles were extremely wearing.....now she is 38 and we are best friends.....so there is light at the end of the tunnel!

I've got to agree, girls are a pain in the rump. Although our daughter wasn't in trouble at school or with the law she sure did test my patience with her back chat and thinking she knew it all. Her bedroom was a tip, I even posted a health warning on the bedroom door. Thankfully things did improve (once she left home) heheheh! She is happily married now with 4 children, the oldest 15, and is always pleased to tell people the kids all have the same father. Once she left home and got married with her own family her housekeeping improved too. The answer is to send all 12/13 year old girls away for 2 years to training camp to help them control their tormented, in-turmoil hormones lmaoooo.

Don't feel guilty lolly, all of us who have had daughters have been through it.

Do you mean when we get paid? It's well documented most women don't get paid their full worth compared to men doing exactly the same job (in certain industry).

Exactly!

Look at my brother and I. Different as chalk and cheese and we both have the same father!

I agree, sons can be trouble at times, but they are less complicated than girls. We found it easier with our son as we did not have so many temper tantrums and back chat. The "troubles" where kept away from home - thankfully!! The only time we used to get extremely annoyed was when a strange girl was found creeping out of the house in the morning. Fortunately that was an "inbetween relationship" phase which lasted about six months PHEW!! Glad to say he's happily living in his own home and looking forward to his own trouble!! LOL

I notice a few of you seem to suffering over the years with pains in the back passage. I must be honest I have never had to suffer this so I do not know what experience you are getting. I have a 37 year old daughter, married and divorced, and a grand daughter coming up to 12. There have been certain confrontations with both but nothing to have caused rectal pain.
