If you buy a caravan

Hi Andy

Hopefully buying a caravan won't cause a loss of humour, but many seem to be subject to Forum Rage. I think that you have to have a sense of humour to read many threads. Sometimes you can see that someone has a strong opinion on something but blatantly haven't got a clue what they're banging on about. The same as in real life really only without the bruises.

You may be right though. I think that you have to be mad to spend a year's wages on a box made mostly from cheap wood and plastic that appears to be nailed together in 10 minutes by some ham fisted monkey. And then try to set it all up and enjoy yourself in a rain sodden paddy field in a force ten gale with the wife and kids having a screaming match inside. But hey, I'm one of them, and enjoy every minute. Well most minutes anyway. Apart from the time that.....

Andy, as well as some sense of humour bypasses which many seem to have had done - no wonder the NHS has such a long waiting list, many also seem to have lost all traces of tolerance. The intolerant seem to have gained too much envy, parsimony, sanctimony especially towards 4x4 owners (I'm not one), twin axle owners (I used to have one) people who get caught money making for the local plod, (speeding) and others who like a clean car/outfit. So can we all be a bit more tolerant, stop whinging and enjoy our hobby more? Anyone reading this Forum for the first time would probably be put off vanning.
