Ile De Moutier?

A good while since we last visited, I seem to remerber that its quite flat and bland. Ok for a visit but not somewhere we would spend a holiday at.

But we always buy Noirmoutier sea salt butter and Sel de Noirmoutier for cooking. The island is famous for its salt.

Ok for a visit but would make for a quite holliday base.

The Passage du Gois... D948 is interesting as the road is submerged at high tide.

It has escape refuge towers every kilometer or so for motorist that ignore the posted tide times.

You climb up to escape the rising water abandoning your car in the process.

Several people get caught out every year!
