Important Message for satellite TV viewers

Well the message from the BBC is clear enough but my caravan FTA setup (which we use in the kitchen when not touring) is still working fine on all channels without retuning. I don't understand why but if it aint broke etc.....

Same here with mine.
I use a FTA box as a back-up in the house and checked last night and the channels were still there.
I'll keep monitoring it for a while.

most people use freesat receivers now in caravans as sky boxes are just too big and cumbersome. if you have a freesat fta receiver then you need do nothing as per the bbc paragraph in the e-mail .

"Viewers with a Freesat set-top box will not need to do anything, as the Freesat EPG (Electronic Programme Guide) will be updated to reflect these changes. If you experience a problem, it may be resolved by switching your Freesat box off, and then on again. If you see an on-screen message advising you to retune, please follow the instructions on-screen."
